Beautiful woman in India 2

Posted by
Ansie (Paarl, South Africa) on 20 May 2010 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Woman are used in India instead of wheelbarrows. Of course, to some Westerners, it is shocking. But if she did not have this work, how would she feed her children? So she might be grateful for the job. No work should be considered menial, if it is done with dignity, and these woman does it with grace and beauty!

Ansie - I like this image even better than the last one. The composition, the colors, the character etched in these ladies' faces make for a fantastic image. Larry

Monique from Koh Samui, Thailand

Tijdens onze tijd in India viel het me altijd op dat de vrouwen het zwaarste werk deden, terwijl bij de wegwerkzaamheden borden stonden met 'men at work'! :) Kleurrijke foto Ansie, erg mooi!
